Bow Chicka-Bow Ribbit?

There was no way I could do a Wordless Wednesday my first Wednesday back.....especially not with a picture like this! Apparently our pond has become a froggy bordello!

Olivia: Mommy! Those froggies are playing horsey!
Jacob: Are they hugging?
Me: (Not really wanting to get into the whole birds and the bees, er rather the frogs + frogs = tadpoles lesson) It sure does look like it doesn't it? (Lame I know!)
Olivia: Why do they keep moving around?
Jacob: They sure do seem peaceful. I think they are making peace for our Earth. (?!?)

My husband's greatest desire is to make peace for our Earth every single day. He's one peace-loving guy.

I thought maybe they were just playing "leap-frog" and got stuck.

hahaha - making peace for our earth...I like that, perhaps that can be the new 'code' phrase in my house - I'm sure the kiddos would never figure it out! :)

Guys, guys: It's CLEAR what the frog is doing. It's approximating the car wreck that he witnessed for/to Mrs. Frog - over and over and over again. :)

Too funny! ...I wonder if that could be made into a pick up line?!?!

So by now the eggs have hatched, you have toad tadpoles busily cleaning your pond (they are after all, quite good at that), but they are also gunking up your pond filter, no? As much as I love our peace making toads filling our pond with eggs, I hate job of cleaning out the filter every other day as it gets clogged up with suicidal tad poles. Ugh.
