What is it with scientists and talking shop? I'm an electrical engineer and the closest we get to shop talk is, "This is really good wine!"

I get it, but only because my niece is currently pre-med, and her direction for med school is research - so she already spends lots and lots of time in a lab, and some of the facebook comments she makes are so way out of my realm, but I find it amusing, in an 'I don't get it' sort of way! :-); April 22, 2009 8:08 AM
