No itch here!

Today is our 7th wedding anniversary. We got married on this day and pledged to love and support each other through life’s tribulations and I think we have done a pretty good job so far. At times I can’t believe how quickly the time how gone, and yet when I examine our life together, I also can’t believe all that has happened in just 7 short years.

We starting rehabbing our house, our golden has had 4 knee surgeries, and the husky almost died from a random numo-thorax (collapsed lung). Dave has lost both of his grandmothers, and we have come very close to losing my grandfather on multiple occasions. We had Jacob, lost a baby, and had Olivia all in 2 years. Dave left a job he had had for 11 years for a leap of faith, we finished our house, sold it, and moved to our "forever" house where our children will grow up.

Dave and I have worked out the day to day kinks. I handle this he takes care of that, and except for when I am overwhelmed or exceptionally crabby it works well. We are a good team and what a bonus that we are best friends and love each other too!

Happy anniversary honey, I love you. I love all that you do for our family but I especially love how patient and giving you are with me. It takes a strong man to know when to let his wife have her way and run things (everything) her way, but still stand up for what you want and believe is important. For that, I love you even more.

Seven years and still going strong......and not even a single itch anywhere. Well, except when a swarm of mosquitoes have bitten me all over, and then I'm itching, but only then.
