My World

Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely moms out there! I got to sleep in and was woken up to Olivia having a royal meltdown because Grandma and Daddy didn't peel her oranges the "right" way, and so the day began. She wanted me 'cause only Mommy knows how to make her oranges and she just wanted a hug.

This is what being a mom is. I am the one that they trust to lead them in the right direction in life, to give them the confidence and security to believe that they can do anything that they put their hearts and minds to. My hugs and my kisses are what help make their physical and emotional hurts better. I am their mommy and I am their world. They are my world too, and I am so thankful that they are in my life. I would truly be lost without them. Temper tantrums and all.

Happy Mother's Day! Isn't the kids what this is all about anyway? I am happy to spend my day with my son.

Although I am also happy that his daddy is coming over for a visit in, oh, about ten minutes. ;)

I love that post! We had quite a few issues today too. My girls are very attached to me. (Dad works long hours, so they're used to the way I do things!) We had a few meltdowns too.

I laughed at your comment on my blog...I think he took the keys on purpose too! But I did manage to get to Marshall's before they closed and I snagged a $150 sweater for $20. It's really cute.

Happy Mother's Day.

After my son spent all day yesterday hanging out with Dad, so I could relax...today he wanted nothing to do with me. Turns out Matchbox cars with Daddy is more fun than laundry with Mom.

Yes, I think being a mommy is just that and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Great post!

Aww, I hope you had a lovely mother's day. I can so relate to the orange peeling only from mom thing. It's the little things we do that seem to make such a difference in life :)
