One of my biggest peeves with my husband is that when he is brushing his teeth he turns the water on full blast and then while he is brushing, he walks away and LEAVES THE WATER RUNNING! It absolutely drives me up a wall and if we are not in the best of moods with each other he will totally do it to the hilt on purpose. If everything is going fabulous, he tries and maybe 50% of the time he will turn the water off while brushing. Dave is upstairs helping Jake brush and he turned the water on full blast and started to walk off while Jake brushed, and Jake just totally told him to shut the water off 'cause that was wasting water. We are supposed to turn the water off while we brush our teeth Daddy. Yippeeeeee!!!!! :) Now, should I go upstairs and gloat a little teensy tiny bit? I think so.

Ooh - slam! Hopefully having the son say it to him will have a lasting effect on him. One can hope anyway. But if Dave is anything like my DH he'll just think he got it from you and continue to do it.

Every time I brush my teeth I think about it and turn the water off...I guess that purple dinosaur isn't all bad! Maybe your husband should watch it!

Jill totally took my Barney comment. Nothing could possibly irritate your husband more than if you sang that song. Trust me.
I actually don't know the Barney song that you guys are talking about...he was banned from our house long before conception and we actually stuck to our guns on that one! Maybe it is on youtube....I'll have to look it up!
